For an individual seeking a first time certification in the State of Oregon as an Unarmed Security Professional, a 14-hour class is required. This class requires 14 hours of classroom instruction and practical, scenario based training. You will receive the needed block of instruction, testing and assessments and PS6 training affidavit required to apply for your first time certification. A copy of the Unarmed Security Professional Manual and Contract are also included, if desired.

Why this course? This class is for someone who is new to Oregon's Unarmed Private Security industry. This course is required for everyone entering into security, except those in Events & Entertainment. It is an introduction to private security in Oregon and establishes you for additional training.

Taking this class includes the block of instruction, testing and the required PS6 training affidavit required for renewal. A copy of the Unarmed Security Manual and Contract are also included, if desired.

Why this course? This class is for an unarmed or armed provider who is in need of their biannual unarmed renewal training. This is a four hour training that satisfies the requirement for you to get another two year card.
