I have over 15 years in law enforcement and the private security industry, including retail loss prevention management, college public safety, healthcare security, community enforcement and leadership. I provide education and work in the field with local companies.

I am certified by Oregon State's Department of Public Safety Standards and Training as an independent instructor. Along with certification through Oregon DPSST as an instructor, I have also been approved to train for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, ASP, the NRA, New Mexico Tech University and MOAB Training International. I have received countless hours of training through the United States Army, FEMA and DPSST, and hope to use my training and experience to give you the best introduction to DPSST and private security in Oregon as possible.
I am ICS 100, 200, 300 and 400, 700, and 800 trained and an AWR160 (CBRNE) instructor and have completed FEMA's Cobra training. I am also a local instructor for New Mexico Tech University's IRTB (Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings) class and a violence in the workplace and public safety instructor for MOAB International. As of July 2017, I was appointed to the Oregon Private Security and Investigator Policy Committee as the Unarmed Rep then later to the Healthcare position. This group is made up of 12 security representatives of our industry from across Oregon and is tasked with improvement and review of training, law and practices. I am a military veteran and support veterans.
